Did you know that Lions Clubs International was formed October 10, 1917, and our Club was formed on November 5, 1929? Our motto is "We Serve" and we are a diverse group of individuals from various backgrounds united in helping others as well as improving our communities within the city of High Point. We aim for a positive impact through our service projects. We know that there are others in our High Point community who share this desire to meet needs and help strengthen our communities. Are you one of those people? For more information and/or answers to any of your questions in regards to becoming a VIP (Visually Impaired Person) or a volunteer, please contact:

  • Remembering Patricia Franklin

Heaven has gained another angel - our sister Patricia Franklin was called home on 3/13/2020 at 2:25 P.M. She passed at home with her husband and her daughter. Patricia, a very devoted Lion, would stop at nothing to help the visually impaired. Patricia was a beautiful person with a wonderful soul that will truly be missed by many.

    OBITUARY

Patricia Ann Franklin was called home to be will the Lord March 13,2020. She was born on July 6th, 1957 in High Point, NC. She was a woman of God, a wife, a mother, a sister, a friend, and a caregiver, but most importantly, she was truly a worshiper. She knew from whom her help came.

She had several professions, but embedded within them was her love and giftedness with people. She naturally covered people no matter the age or stage of their life. She was absolutely anointed by the Holy

Spirit her cup ran over. She attended High Point Public School. She was a member of Freewill Higher Heights Church.

She was preceded in death by parents Earnest McCorkle and Rochelle Stewart; 3 brothers, Terry, Elvan and Nathaniel Stewart; 1 sister Geraldine Davis. She is survived by her husband James Franklin of the home, 1 daughter Andrea Bullock (Brad), 1 son Aaron Franklin; 5 granddaughters Morgan, Samara, Kayla, Shayla and Yori. 3 siblings Jerome Stewart, Marlene Joines(Bobby) and Darrell Stewart and 2 spiritual sisters Janet Blakeney and Linda Stewart.

A private Celebration of Life for Patricia will be held by the family.

Those wishing to offer in person condolences to the family of Patricia Franklin may do so at the residence of Patricia and James Franklin.
